The Quality Of The Seed Determines The Quality Of Life
“Behold, ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously; for I will work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.” Hab 1:5
“Who hath saved us, and called us with an Holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
But is now made manifest by the appearing of our savior Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.” 2 Tim. 1:9-10
“Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come to you.” 1 Pet. 1:10
” Being born again not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God,which liveth and abideth forever.”
Seed is synonymous to life. There is no life without seed. The quality of the seed determines the quality of life. Corrupt the seed, life becomes corruptible. There it is- Adam the natural seed of mankind became corrupt, there by transformed the whole human race into corruption.
Seed is also synonymous to the word. Luke 8:11. (The seed or the word was in the beginning with God.) In the mind of God, the word was to one day in the fullness of time become flesh and dwell among us, to redeem mankind from the corruption of Adam. This was fulfilled in Jesus, the incarnate word of God. His declaration : “Except ye eat my flesh and drink my blood, ye have no life in you.”, refers to the incorruptible life he came to restore to mankind.
This 2 seed-form (life and word) is his free gift to humanity. As the seed of Abraham , he brought the blessings of Abraham to all the children of Abraham – the believer. Since the blessings of Abraham is nothing short of the blessings of Adam, so in Christ, the complete blessing of both Abraham and Adam is restored to mankind.
